Overview: Negros Oriental State University (formerly Central Visayas Polytechnic College- CVPC) is one of the new universities in the Philippines situated in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. By virtue of Republic Act 9299 in 2004 it was granted the status of university and renamed Negros Oriental State University.
